Saving the Reefs, One Coral at a Time: Why We Support Coral Gardeners

Saving the Reefs, One Coral at a Time: Why We Support Coral Gardeners

We’re proud to support the mission of @coralgardeners, donating 5% of profits from our debut collection to fuel their work restoring the world’s coral reefs.

And in true lead-by-example fashion, we’ve already planted 60+ corals in their reef nursery!

This one’s close to our hearts.

We first connected with Coral Gardeners back in 2017 on the island of Mo’orea, when their mission was just getting started. A small group of surfers, free-divers, and ocean lovers had a simple but powerful goal: to save the dying reefs that give life to our oceans.

Since then, Coral Gardeners has grown into a global movement, replanting and restoring reefs one coral at a time — inspiring thousands of people to take action for the ocean.

Why Coral Reefs Matter

Coral reefs are often called the rainforests of the sea. They support 25% of all marine life, protect coastlines from erosion, and provide food, jobs, and security to millions of people around the world.
But today, coral reefs are under massive threat — from rising ocean temperatures, pollution, and destructive fishing practices. Scientists warn that if we don’t act now, we could lose up to 90% of the world’s coral reefs by 2050.

What Coral Gardeners Does

Coral Gardeners isn’t just raising awareness — they’re planting solutions.
They grow healthy corals in nurseries and transplant them back onto damaged reefs, restoring ecosystems and giving marine life a second chance.
Their work blends innovation, education, and action to spark a movement of everyday ocean protectors.

Where We Come In

Through our debut collection, Coral Cove proudly supports Coral Gardeners’ mission by donating 5% of profits directly toward coral restoration projects.
Every purchase you make helps fund coral nursery expansion, reef planting, research, and educational outreach — turning fashion into real, lasting impact.
And we’re proud to say: we’ve already helped plant over 60 corals with them — and counting.

This Isn’t Charity — It’s Legacy

  • This isn’t about doing something good for the sake of it.
  • It’s about protecting what makes life possible — for us, for future generations, and for the wild, beautiful creatures we share the sea with.
  • It’s about standing up for the places that have given us so much.
  • Every purchase is a piece of the reef restored.
  • Every order is a vote for a wilder, more vibrant ocean.
  • Every coral counts.
  • Be part of it. Wear the change. Ride with us.
